Have a question about circuit boards, old computers or a business equipment cleanout? Here are the details people usually need before getting started. Call 951-822-6298 or email info@theewasteguys.com to talk about your collection.
WHAT DOES CIRCUIT BOARD RECYCLERS BUY?
We buy electronic scrap and review reusable components, including motherboards, RAM, processors, expansion cards, telecom boards, industrial boards, hard-drive boards, phone boards and IC chips. Start with What We Buy to find your material, or send photos of an unfamiliar lot.
CAN YOU HELP WITH COMPLETE COMPUTERS AND SERVERS?
Yes. Include complete desktops, laptops, workstations, servers and related business electronics in your request. List the brand, model and quantity when available. Keep complete systems together for the first review, especially when they may still be useful.
WHICH BRANDS SHOULD I INCLUDE?
Examples include Dell, HP, HPE, Lenovo, Apple, Acer and ASUS computers or components; Cisco and Juniper networking equipment; Intel and AMD processors; and Samsung, Micron, SK hynix and Kingston memory. Exact models and condition are useful alongside the brand. Mixed brands can be listed in the same request.
DO YOU OFFER ITAD SERVICES?
Yes. ITAD means IT asset disposition: deciding what happens to computers and other IT equipment when they leave service. Tell us about your refresh, office move, server retirement or surplus inventory. We can discuss equipment reuse, recycling and the data services needed for the project.
DO YOU WIPE DATA AND DESTROY HARD DRIVES?
We offer both data wiping and physical hard-drive destruction. Tell us which service you want and list the storage types and quantities. If your collection has a mix of devices, identify them by group so we can discuss the appropriate work for each.
CAN RECYCLING AND DATA SERVICES BE ARRANGED TOGETHER?
Yes. Include the drives and requested data service with your equipment list. For example, a business may have laptops for review, older systems for recycling and separate hard drives for destruction. We will discuss the project details before collection.
WHERE DO YOU OFFER PICKUP?
For California collection requests, give us the pickup city and a description of the material. We will discuss the location, quantity and collection arrangements with you.
CAN I ASK ABOUT A SMALL LOT OR A LARGE CLEANOUT?
Yes. Send the quantity you have, whether it is a few boxes of parts or several pallets of equipment. The material and location help us discuss the next step. For multiple business locations, give a separate quantity and city for each site.
DO I NEED TO SORT THE BOARDS FIRST?
Simple groups help: motherboards, RAM, CPUs, expansion cards and other boards. If the lot is mixed, start with photos. You can use our sorting guide without taking apart every item or identifying every chip.
HOW MUCH ARE MY ELECTRONICS WORTH?
The board type, equipment model, condition, quantity and reuse demand all matter. Pickup and any requested services also belong in the quote. Read what affects pricing, then send details of your actual equipment.
WHAT SHOULD I SEND FOR A QUOTE?
Photos, an approximate count or weight, your city and the services you need. Add model numbers for repeated items and say whether they work or are untested. The quote page includes a short email outline.
HOW DO I PREPARE FOR PICKUP?
Keep the agreed equipment together and identify any drives needing data service. Tell us how it is packed and where it can be loaded. Payment details, collection arrangements and the work included are discussed for your project. See How It Works for the full process.
