SELL YOUR TELECOM BOARDS

Sell telecom boards, line cards and network scrap in California. Get help with retired switches, routers, ITAD, electronics recycling and pickup planning.

Telecom Boards

Circuit Board Recyclers buys telecom circuit boards and helps California businesses recycle retired network equipment. Send us your switch boards, router boards, line cards and communications scrap, or tell us about a complete network upgrade. We can discuss the boards, reusable equipment and data-handling work together so your team has a clear plan for the whole lot.

TELECOM BOARDS AND NETWORK PARTS

  • Line cards and interface cards: Removable boards from modular routers, carrier equipment and chassis switches.
  • Switch and router boards: Main circuit boards from fixed and modular network equipment.
  • Supervisor and control modules: Assemblies that manage a network chassis or its installed cards.
  • Backplanes and interconnect boards: Boards that link modules inside communications equipment.
  • Optical and network accessories: Transceivers, interface modules and related parts included with a retirement project.
  • Complete equipment: Switches, routers and other network devices that are still assembled.

List power supplies, fans, cables and metal chassis separately from loose boards. If your project also includes servers, follow our server motherboard guide and RAM memory page to describe those parts.

CISCO AND JUNIPER EQUIPMENT

Cisco Catalyst and Nexus equipment may include a complete fixed switch, a modular chassis or removable line cards. These are different items, so photograph the product label and the full assembly. With a Cisco Nexus 9000 lot, record the individual card numbers as well as the chassis model; one chassis can contain several different modules.

Juniper MX equipment uses several interface families, including MPCs, MICs, FPCs and PICs. Keep these identifiers in your inventory instead of listing everything as a router card. For example, a Juniper MX chassis model tells us which platform a part came from, while the label on the card identifies the actual item you want to sell.

Other manufacturers and older communications systems can be included in your request. A readable label is more useful than guessing the model from the appearance of its connectors.

FOR NETWORK UPGRADES AND EQUIPMENT CLEANOUTS

This service fits projects at telecom contractors, internet service providers, data centers, managed IT companies, offices, schools and warehouses. A small office may have a few retired switches; a network contractor may have mixed cards from several upgrade jobs. Tell us whether your equipment is loose, boxed, in racks or already on pallets.

Keep working and untested equipment in separate groups when possible. Reusable network hardware can be evaluated as complete equipment, while obsolete or damaged boards can be reviewed for recycling. Leaving model labels and connectors intact helps us identify both routes.

ITAD AND DATA HANDLING

IT asset disposition, or ITAD, is the process of retiring equipment with a plan for reuse, recycling and stored information. Network devices can retain settings, credentials and other configuration data. Include your data-handling needs when you describe the project. Circuit Board Recyclers offers data wiping and physical destruction services; we will discuss the equipment and the method needed before collection.

For mixed server-room projects, identify hard drives and solid-state storage separately. This keeps data-bearing media visible in the project instead of treating it as ordinary board scrap.

GET A TELECOM SCRAP QUOTE

Send an overall photo, a few clear product labels, the quantity and your California city. Add the equipment condition and whether you need pickup, electronics recycling, data wiping or physical destruction. See how the process works, then request a telecom and network equipment quote. QUESTIONS ABOUT TELECOM BOARD BUYERS

What belongs in a telecom-board inventory?

Include line cards, supervisor modules, backplanes and other communications assemblies. Record the equipment family and full part number where possible. Describe complete networking chassis separately from cards that are already removed.

Are metal faceplates part of the telecom assembly description?

Yes. Show attached faceplates, connectors and handles in the photos. They can carry identification and contribute to the overall assembly weight. Do not describe that total as bare circuit-board weight without explanation.

Should optical transceivers be listed apart from the cards holding them?

Identify removable transceivers and their quantities when possible, while noting which remain installed. Show model labels for both the host cards and optical modules. This helps distinguish a fitted assembly from a bare card.

Can older telephone-system cards be included with modern network boards?

Include them as their own group with source-system details and photos. Age or the word telecom does not make all cards the same material. Keep recognizable families apart for a more accurate review.
