SELL YOUR CIRCUIT BOARDS

Sell circuit boards and mixed electronic scrap in California. CBR offers pickup, electronics recycling, ITAD, data wiping and physical data destruction.

Circuit Boards

Circuit Board Recyclers buys scrap circuit boards and electronic components from California businesses and individual sellers. Whether you have a few sorted boxes, boards from a repair shop or equipment from a business cleanout, we help you turn that material into a clear recycling and pickup plan. Send photos and your city to get started.

CIRCUIT BOARDS WE BUY

Printed circuit boards, also called PCBs, appear in everything from desktop computers to factory controls. We buy computer motherboards, server boards, telecom boards, expansion cards, industrial control boards, hard drive boards and mobile phone boards. Mixed board lots are welcome too. You do not need to identify every chip before contacting us.

FROM OFFICE COMPUTERS TO FACTORY EQUIPMENT

Useful identifiers include the equipment maker, model and board part number. Dell PowerEdge identifies a server family; Cisco Catalyst identifies a network-switch family; Siemens SIMATIC S7 identifies an industrial-controller family. These names help explain where a board came from, while the assembly number identifies the actual part. Photograph both when they are available.

Repair shops may have repeated failed boards and spare parts. IT teams may have a mix of computers, memory, processors and network equipment after an upgrade. Manufacturers may be clearing control cabinets or obsolete electronics stock. For each situation, a short inventory makes it easier to discuss the whole project and keep useful components separate from scrap.

WHAT AFFECTS A BOARD QUOTE?

The type of board, component mix, condition, quantity and possibility of reuse all matter. A dense server assembly is different from a simple power board. Attached steel, heatsinks and plastic also change what is included in the weight. Board color alone does not tell you the grade, and gold-colored contacts do not tell you how much recoverable gold a lot contains.

Leave identifiable boards intact for the first quote. Clear labels and complete assemblies preserve information that can be lost during dismantling. If your material is already stripped or damaged, simply show it that way. Our grading guide and pricing guide explain these differences in more detail.

ELECTRONICS RECYCLING AND BUSINESS CLEANOUTS

We also offer electronics recycling and IT asset disposition, or ITAD, for retired business equipment. This brings the equipment inventory, possible reuse, recycling and data-handling needs into one discussion. Tell us if the boards are part of an office move, server refresh, warehouse cleanout or ongoing scrap stream.

Data wiping and physical data destruction are available for projects involving storage devices or sensitive equipment. Identify those items before pickup so we can agree on the service needed. Keep hard drives, SSDs and other storage separate in your inventory; selling a circuit board and arranging data destruction are different parts of the job.

SEND PHOTOS. GET A PICKUP PLAN.

Take one photo of the entire lot and close-ups of the different board types. Add an estimated weight or piece count, your California city and any loading details. Mention pallets, stairs, loading docks or equipment that is still installed. See our California service areas for coverage information.

Request a circuit board quote by emailing info@theewasteguys.com or calling 951-822-6298. We will discuss your material, the services you need and collection arrangements.

QUESTIONS ABOUT CIRCUIT BOARD BUYERS

What makes one scrap circuit board different from another?

Component population, construction, source equipment and condition help distinguish boards. A motherboard, power board and telecom card should not be assumed to share one grade. Photographs of the actual assemblies are the starting point.

Should I remove chips from a populated PCB to sell them separately?

Keep the board intact for its initial review. Removing chips changes the material, may damage parts and can complicate identification. If components are already loose, list them separately and explain what remains on the boards.

Can mixed circuit boards be quoted without knowing their grades?

Yes. Provide representative pictures and approximate quantities for visibly different groups. Label uncertain material as mixed or unidentified. Grading can be discussed from those details rather than from a category name chosen at random.

Does visible gold plating determine the price of a whole board?

Visible contacts are only one part of the assembly. They do not establish the amount or value of recoverable material across the entire board. Use a quote based on board type, condition and the actual lot.
